Nokia bags 3G deal

Mobile operator MobileOne (M1) has awarded Nokia a contract to supply equipment and services for the second phase of its W-CDMA 3G network rollout. Under the contract Nokia will supply expansion and enhancements, including core network and radio access equipment. The deal will expand coverage of its 3G network to a number of suburban towns and the new Mass Rapid Transfer (MRT) train network.
