Maxis selects Ericsson

Malaysian cellco Maxis has awarded Ericsson a contract to upgrade its 2G network and ensure its compatability with future 3G technologies. Under the terms of the deal Ericsson will supply both 2G and 3G core and radio access equipment to include GPRS, EDGE and WCDMA.
