Etisalat awards Alcatel IN contract

The Emirates Telecommunications Corporation (Etisalat) has awarded Alcatel a turnkey contract to expand its intelligent networks (IN) in the United Arab Emirates. The new infrastructure will allow the telco to offer services such as MMS; the equipment is expected to be in place by the end of the year.
