BT has outlined plans to rebuild its presence in the UK’s mobile phone arena through a GBP5.5 million advertising campaign. The telco said it would market its mobile offering at over 1,000 retail stores across the country, including the Carphone Warehouse, The Link, Phones 4U, Comet and, from 1 January next year, high street catalogue retailer Argos. BT said it is aiming its service at family households, as well as small businesses, and will launch a series of competitive new services over the next few months.
