3GIS accelerates network rollout

3G Infrastructure Services (3GIS), a joint venture set up by Hi3G Access (3 Sweden), Vodafone Sweden and Orange to build a shared W-CDMA 3G network covering 70% of the Swedish population, is accelerating network rollout, allowing 3 Sweden to launch services in several Swedish cities over the next few weeks. 3GIS’s network has been exclusively supplied by Nokia.
