Australia’s largest telco Telstra says it has signed a deal with Vodafone Australia to embark on a network partnering trial in central Victoria to test the viability of network sharing to remove, ‘costly and unnecessary duplication in regional and rural Australia’, according to Deena Shiff, managing director of Telstra Wholesale. If successful, the two will consider the possibility of a wider network partnering contract.
