Corporate telecoms provider GTD Teleductos has entered the bidding for bankrupt telco AT&T Latin America (ATTL) and the auction could begin ‘within days’ according to BNAmericas. An offer by Brazilian long-distance operator Embratel will be used by ATTL’s US bankruptcy court to decide on a minimum price for the operator. Alongside GTD and Embratel, bidders include a Mexican consortium led by Telmex and Chilesat of Chile.
