Broadband Britain finally becoming a reality?

A new survey has found that the number of UK businesses with broadband high speed internet access has more than doubled in the past year to 39%, bringing the government closer to its goal of having the highest broadband penetration of the G7 countries by 2006. Almost two-thirds of UK companies without high speed access admitted they were likely to be pressed by customers to upgrade within the next five years, with one-in-six planning to upgrade within the coming year.
