Ericsson says ‘yes’ to the euro

27 Aug 2003

According to Ericsson chief executive Carl-Henric Svanberg, multinational companies are likely to drop investments in Sweden significantly if the country says ‘no’ to the euro on 14 September. His announcement follows a recent opinion poll which revealed that 53% of Swedes were planning to vote against joining the single currency.
