Equipment contract news (ii): Motorola to upgrade GPRS network

Motorola has inked a USD19 million deal with MTC-Vodafone for the expansion and upgrade of the the cellco’s GPRS network in Kuwait. The contract includes network services and equipment to increase capacity and coverage, including the deployment of Motorola’s Horizon Macro base stations.
