1 Jul 2003

Directory advertising group Yell has confirmed it is to go ahead with the UK’s biggest floatation this year, rescheduling last year’s abandoned IPO for next month. Poor market conditions prompted the cancellation of the previous attempt to float the company. Yell expects pricing to be set ‘on or around’ 9 July, with trading to begin the following day; it hopes to raise around GBP850 million from the sale.
