Fujitsu wins Verizion order

Japanese computer manufacturer Fujitsu [PNK:FJTSY.PK] has announced that it has won an order from US telco Verizon [NYSE:VZ] for the supply of fibre-optic network equipment to the tune of USD849.23 million. The news has been welcomed by the company whose telecoms equipment business has suffered in recent years due to a decline in investment and decreasing IT demand from the US. The order will be completed over a three to five year period.
