6 Jun 2003

German airport operator Flughafen Munchen has teamed up with Cisco Systems to turn Munich International Airport into a wireless internet access hub. Flughafen says it is looking to create the world’s most technologically advanced, user-friendly hotspot, where customers will be able to select the ISP of their choice. The multiservice provider WLAN system has been introduced in partnership with Deutsche Telekom Network Projects & Services, formerly DeTeLine, with physical infrastructure supplied through Cisco Systems.
