Sony Ericsson plans launch of new camera phone

Mobile phone maker Sony Ericsson has announced that it will launch a new flagship phone in the Asia-Pacific countries of Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam and India this month. The company claims that it built the T610 from scratch; it boasts a camera and a large 65 thousand-colour screen and is capable of MMS. Sony Ericsson hopes that sales of the new phone will boost its market share to 7%-10% by the end of this year; it currently stands at 4.8%.
