T-Online International reports 22.1% rise in revenues

Deutsche Telekom’s internet arm T-Online International has reported a 22.1% increase in revenues to EUR445 million and EBITDA of EUR76 million for the three months to end-March 2003, driven by strong subscriber growth from international operations. The company said the number of customers rose by 1.2 million to 12.5 million between March 2002 and March 2003 and broadband subscribers in Germany increased by 900,000 to 2.9 million. Turnover from its international operations leapt by 59% to EUR40 million, aided in part by strong growth in Spain.
