Cell C receives ZAR300 million loan

Johannesburg-based mobile operator Cell C has announced that it is to receive a loan of ZAR300 million from the Industrial Development Corporation (IDC) which it will use to finance the roll-out of its network. The company, which has around 700 live base stations in South Africa, plans to use the money to rollout a further 1,500 by the end of May.
