Tele2 reports record cash flow

Pan-European telco Tele2 has reported a first quarter increase in revenues of 19% to SEK8.6 billion and a SEK630 million hike in net profit to SEK491 million. During the three months ending 31 March 2003 Tele2 added 910,000 customers, 356,000 of which came from the group’s central European operations; at the end of the quarter the group claimed 17.7 million customers.
