Vodafone heads North

17 Apr 2003

Vodafone has signed a partner network agreement with Islandssimi hf (shortly to be rebranded Og-Vodafone), the largest privately owned cellco in Iceland with 85,000 customers, to introduce a range of its global mobile services. During the second half of 2003 the operator will introduce services such as pre-paid roaming and Vodafone Eurocall. The announcement takes the number of partner network agreements Vodafone has in place to eight, namely in Austria, Croatia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Iceland, Kuwait and Slovenia.
