It’s all happening in Turkey as IsTim seeks EUR2.5 billion in damages

Turkish cellco IsTim, co-owned by Telecom Italia and investment group Isbank, is seeking EUR2.5 billion in damages from the telecoms regulator claiming that it failed to enforce a roaming agreement with dominant local operators. It also claims that price increases by fixed line monopoly telco Turk Telecom should have been brought under stricter control.
