UK Radiocommunications Agency warns of interference to 3G services

The UK Radiocommunications Agency has published a report whose findings point to the possibility of future ultra wideband (UWB) devices having a possible serious detrimental effect on the delivery of 3G mobile services. The Agency study concludes that UMTS devices could be subjected to high levels of interference from UWB boxes located within a five metre radius, making it possible that users would not be able to use 3G in their own home.
