Liberty deploys wireless broadband network in Panama

3 Mar 2003

Data services provider Liberty Technologies has revealed that it is deploying Panama’s first non-line-of-sight (NLOS) wireless broadband network at a cost of USD3 million. The infrastructure will be supplied by US-based Navini Networks. The company hopes to take advantage of Panama’s newly liberalised market and claims it will stand out against its competitors through a high quality of service. The initial network has already been installed and is serving active clients.
