UK alternative telco Thus, which was spun off from its parent utility company Scottish Power last year, expects its profit before tax for the year to 31 March 2003 to be close to GBP30 million, in the ‘upper half’ of its forecasts. Revenues are predicted to reach GBP300 million and the operator expects to meet its goal of break-even by the fourth quarter of the 2003-04 financial year.
