Comviq breaks three million barrier

10 Jan 2003

Leading alternative telecommunications services provider Tele2 has said that its Swedish mobile operator Comviq now has over three million customers thanks to better than expected pre-Christmas sales for new subscriptions and pre-paid pacakages. The operator claims to be the fastest growing player in the market, having garnered more than half of all new additions in the first nine months of 2002. Two-thirds of Comviq’s subscriber base are pre-paid users.
